Why This Resource Exists
Chase County warrant questions can cross several offices. County Court handles traffic, misdemeanor, municipal-ordinance, and preliminary-hearing matters. District Court handles district-court felony and higher-level criminal files. The sheriff serves and executes legal process and has jail custody. Nebraska JUSTICE provides a statewide trial-court case-information route, but it is not a complete warrant roster.
The goal is to put those distinctions beside the official links and phone numbers. The site does not fill gaps with guessed portals, lists, fees, bond amounts, or surrender instructions.
What You Can Find Here
- Warrant checks: how to use JUSTICE and then confirm a result with the right Chase County clerk.
- Active records: why no public Chase County sheriff roster was located and how to use the court case instead.
- Missed court dates: how bench-warrant questions route to County Court or District Court.
- Traffic and city cases: why Imperial, Wauneta, and Lamar matters may route through County Court.
- Public access: how Nebraska Public Records Statutes interact with sealed, juvenile, and investigative material.
What This Site Cannot Do
This is not a government office, law-enforcement desk, court clerk, attorney, or consumer reporting agency. It cannot:
- run an official warrant check or confirm a current warrant
- recall, quash, remove, or clear a court warrant
- accept bond money, payments, or private case documents
- arrange a surrender, hearing, booking, or jail visit
- give legal advice about a specific case
- promise that an office number, fee, or public record has not changed
Only the issuing court can confirm the legal case action. The sheriff can confirm the part involving service, custody, or booking.
Use of Search Partners
Some content pages contain a general search widget supplied by a third party. That service is separate from Nebraska JUSTICE, Chase County Court, the District Court clerk, and the sheriff. Pricing, results, and terms come from the provider. A paid result is not an official Chase County warrant check, and no search partner can change a court record.
